If you are involved in the northeastern fitness world, you may have heard of Alison Witzmann. Her list of degrees, certifications and accomplishments is impressive:
Master of Science in Kinesiology
Master of Arts in Education
Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition

Alison is a triathlete, accomplished fitness challenge participant, runs several charity races per year and participates in many competitive cycle races across the country.

She teaches at major fitness conferences, published several articles on fitness, nutrition, and wellness. Alison also consults and lectures on holistic nutrition, preventative back care, joint and muscle health in the medical field.

Alison is a Professor of Kinesiology, Master Pilates Instructor, Certified Fitness Instructor, Certified Spin Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Colonic Therapist, Food Science and Nutrition Specialist, Reiki Practioner and teacher of Meditation.

Alison holds numerous certifications in Pilates both Traditional and Power Pilates. She has been teaching Pilates for 13 years and practicing since she was a teen in the dance field. She is certified in all levels of group fitness and spin. She holds a personal training certification and specializes in postural alignment and body mechanics. She teaches meditation and has been teaching mindful practice and exercise, incorporating physical strengthening and personal awareness to all ages and levels of experience, ranging from children to seniors and everyone in between. Alison has many years of fitness and wellness experience and has been instructing in the fitness field since she was in college.

Alison is dedicated to optimal nutrition, living at a high energy level, helping you to be strong both physically and mentally and always looking your best. To Alison, fitness and nutrition is a way of life and her forging passion. Her goal is to help others to find their balance; and empower individuals with the tools and motivation they need to accomplish their wellness goals.
